Welcome to Today’s Family Business! I’m thrilled that you are joining our family.
A little about me. I have been a Marketing Communications professional for over 27 years, and have been a freelancer since 2004. I’ve worked for and with all types of companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups.
Today’s Family Business is truly a collaboration between my kids and me. When COVID-19 slowed us down, we talked about what we wanted to do with our free time. My kids wanted to start their own businesses. My son wanted to be a YouTube star, and my daughter wanted to create her own products and sell them. I wanted to write about topics that were important to me and could help others. So, Today’s Family Business was born.
I always envisioned that someday I would grow my business. I never had any idea that my creative team would consist of 12 and 13 year-olds. My daughter designed the TFB website, and my son is managing the advertising and sponsorships. Both kids designed and named the products that are sold in our online store.
Never underestimate what your kids can do.

Hi, my name is Emma. I love to craft and be creative. One person I admire and look up to is Barbara Corcoran, an American businesswoman and Shark Tank star. My biggest goal is to become a millionaire before the age of 18. This is the start of that goal. All of the products you can find in the shop tab are 100% handmade by my brother and I. As Albert Einstein once said, "Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions."

Welcome Louie!

Meet Louie, the newest member of our family and our official spokespuppy. Louie will be essential to Today’s Family Business. He will help us advertise, and show off some of our newest products, along with making memories with us, and being a great brother. In his spare time, some of his favorite things to do are take naps, go on walks, snuggle, fall asleep in your lap, and play with his toys.
In a way, Louie is like the little brother that I’ve always wanted. He’s always up for a game of fetch, or for a belly rub. I enjoy having him around the house because he is calm, friendly, and playful.
One of Louie’s biggest dreams is to become a YouTube star. I think that’s only because he knows that if we get lots of likes on our videos, he will get a treat. Be sure to look out for updates from Louie on TFB!
